A DIFFERENCE
Many times the true heroes of a race event are not the riders, but the men and women who look out for the riders.

These are the people who turn a potentially dangerous situation into a safe outcome. These heroes are the cornerworkers that volunteer for each racing event.

You too can be a hero. Become a cornerworker and get as close to the action as you can possibly get. Make split second decisions, move into action and make a difference...

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corner workers act as both radar and helpers to the racers and respond to the Race Control.

Each corner has two main positions; the Radio Operator and the Flagger. Corner workers are responsible for alerting riders of situations using a flag system. They also report incidents to race control and request additional support, if necessary.

Additionally each corner worker will keep the track area clear of debris and spills; watch for dangerous rider activities or situations and watch for indications of bike failure or damage.

FLAG SYSTEM:

RED/YELLOW

RED/WHITE CROSSED

RED FLAG
