I have an '02 SV engine, not complete.

No front head
No clutch assy.
Everything else is there.

I will probably part out on eBay if someone here doesn't need it. Make offer.

When you ladies get through tearing this engine to pieces, I'd like to talk to whomever winds up with the cylinders.

Scott

Cathy, please bring my fork guts to MSR if you'll be there. Thanks!

No worries Scott, but thanks for the kindness.
I'm just keeping my eyes open for a set for the future too. If my motor holds up, I won't be doing the work til december anyway, after this season. Go for them. (being a newb, I want to focus more on learning to ride right now - the speed bits are for later) By all means, have at them.

1. Do you still have the cheater cams or did they go in your new stock engine?
2. The cylinders that Scott is going to buy and hold for me until I need them - Have they been bored out before?
3. Let me know what junk is left before you go Ebay.
Cheers.

Roger, I went 677 when I sucked in a lot of dirt and scored my cylinder wall last year in a lowside at MSR. The 677 13:1 JE pistons were the only ones on the shelf that could ship THAT DAY, including stock overbores. So, I chose those.

I know a great machine shop in town, though, turned the work in 24 hours.

Cathy,
Chris Corder might make an offer on your tranny parts. He goes through them really quickly.

So Cliff, if I keep the cylinders and heads (I'll need one front head) is that all I need to make my engine a big bore?
I guess I should keep the cylinders then eh!
