I have been using the "turkey pan" for a while now on my '89 GSXR 750 that I run in Classic and Sportsman, I also run a lower fairing that is NOT a fluid catching lower, is this legal for 2003 with the "turkey pan" and the lower in place /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif ?

Although something more substantial than a turkey baster pan would be preferable. How much oil does a GSXR 750 hold, and how much fluid can a turkey baster pan hold without much chance of it sloshing out onto MY racetrack, thereby throwing a huge monkey wrench into the raceday of those of us who now want to kick your @$! ? Get a real fluid catching lower, dude!

The turkey pans were originally allowed as a temporary fix. I would like to see them go in favor of somthing a little more SAFE AND WORKMAN LIKE.

I have the required oil catching device affixed in a workmanlike manner to the underbelly of the poor little bike that tried. The problem is with this newfangled thing in my garage that is in pieces:)
