FYI - the TWS race scheduled in October is also a Texas A&M home football game. Get your room reservations asap for that one. The CMRA has reserved a block of rooms for all TWS race weekends at the Manor House in College Station. The Manor House is the CMRA host hotel and is offering us a special rate of $56 + tax for the first two TWS weekends and $75 + tax for the October date. Room block reservation numbers are CGNS#1, CGNS#2 and CGNS#3.

Is there any word on when either the track in Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX will be completed? And will either of those tracks have the possibility of being added to the CMRA schedule?

Right now neither of them have even moved any dirt. MSR Houston is still searching for a suitable piece of property and Tulsa was working on the drag strip. We'll keep everyone informed about the new tracks as tey get closer to completion.

Thanks for the response. I just remember hearing/seeing some things saying that they will be completed and ready for next years racing season.

The "schedule" means the dates have tenatively been set. That's about it for now.

Jack don't hold your breath.

You gotta admit mini's are a exercise in boredom at TWS.

IMHO anything less than 6 hours is a sprint.
We'll see Breeno!!!!!

We are working on a schedule of events to go with these dates, so stand by. FYI there will be mini sprints at all events in 05.

Is this schedule written in stone yet?? If not I would like to point out that the June 25-26 race at OHR conflicts with the Pikes Peak race through the clouds. I might be the only CMRA member attending this race in 2005 and if that is the case don't worry about it. On the other hand if anything can be done to accomodate this Holy event let me know.

Thanks, Eric Yost

Eric, got any more info on this Pikes Peak race, a link or anything?

www.ppihc.com (http://www.ppihc.com) go to that site it has everything you need to know. If you are serious about trying it make sure to get your paperwork in on time. By the way we might have room for one or two more people. I will be taking my bike trailer it holds 6 plus bikes, has heater/air conditioner, and if you don't mind sleeping on a cot or fold out chair bed it will sleep around 5 people. The more people the less it will cost me. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
