I was one of the guys that's been for "not working on the bikes during a red flag". There were others like me. There were also those that liked it the way it was in '04.
The board listened carefully to the membership and really did a good job trying do what's best for everyone. I'm very proud of you guys.
Thanks BOD. Ya'll do an exceptional job at listening to us.

This has probably already been addressed but bhat was the reasoning behind changing the names of the classes?

When you look in the rulebook for the rules for each endurance class, it would refer you to rules for sprints with a different name.

If the names are the same as the sprint classes, then chances are good that you'll already know what the rules are.

Simple convenience it seems. I was just curious, sounds like a great idea. I just like telling people I won the Unlimited Grand Prix Race instead of the "F1 class" :-) I'll keep telling people I won the Unlimited Grand Prix race, so I can feel better about me.
