Bill,

I am having trouble finding any information on Leo Vince Exhaust systems. Their website is not working. Anyone know where to buy them and if they work well on a GSXR 750??

Bill,
What are the requirements for the Leo Vince contingency?

Bill Syfan
12-23-2004, 12:46 PM
Leo Vince Exhausts are distributed by Western Power Sports and sold by dealers and many of the online parts sellers.

For product or technical info, go to their Italian-based website at www.leovince.com (http://www.leovince.com) (Euro hp specs), or in the U.S. call 1-888-610-4242 or e-mail info@leovinceusa.net.

The requirements include running a full exhaust system (not just a slip-on), stickers and list as a sponsor.

Where did you get this info? Suzuki site hasn't been updated yet.

Bill Syfan

Okay, 2005 CMRA Contingencies that are confirmed for this season are now posted on the "Forms" page under Contingency Awards and Contingency requirements. They will be updated as more contingencies are confirmed.

Be aware that Suzuki is only paying contingency awards on 2004 and 2005 models this season. Everything else remains the same as last year's Suzuki program.

Damn! That was the greatest thing about the Suzuki Cont program. You could make money for 3 yrs, well atleast i have one more to try. But, there's money to make in 3 classes on a 750, so no complaints here. Suzuki still keeping the privateers in mind. Awesome!

Shea,
Honda cont is up, but you must be EXPERT ranks to make the $...

David Hirsch with Michelin asked me to post the following instructions here for members.

As most of you know I attempt to have the Michelin Contingency for each race submitted within a few days of each race. Here are some guidelines to help us get the contingency paid by the next race.
1, If you are not contracted give me your form at the race, even if you do not have your finishes on it. This does not apply to contracted riders as I take care of y'all.
2, Make sure the form is complete and legible.
3, Make sure your bike has the correct stickers on it and you have a patch on your leathers. These items are available from me.

If you do not get the form to me at the race and you are not contracted I will still accept the form but the program requires the form be verified on the day of the race by a race official( that is me or a CMRA official). If I am not familiar with your bike you will have to get someone from the CMRA to verify that you were on Michelins and you met the requirements. I will than TRY to get it paid.

Thanks,
David

An addendum to the 2005 Suzuki contingency program is that 2003 SV650 & SV1000 models will be grandfathered in for 2005 program only.

Does anyone know what the Kawasaki contingency requirements are?
I tried to enter my VIN on their website and it said "invaild". Is the contingency only for 2004 models and above?

Bill Syfan
03-21-2005, 05:26 PM
Yes, the Kawasaki contingency is only for 2004 and 2005 models.
