As always, Kawasaki is the first off the line with their contingency program. They're paying to five places this year, and have added the Ninja 650R and ZX-14 to the ZX-6R, ZX-6RR and ZX-10. No dates as of yet, but there should be six again.

Craig what's up! Ty salary is going to take a hit because I am going to get me some of it.

Ty I do respect you, but you are carrying the bullseye and I am after you! Being the leader is sometimes a *****! I hope I pass you again on the in-side going into little bend. Next time I will hold my line.

Bryan west will be there too! Ya Randall, you too!

Shane,
Wrong page again. Can't you get this right yet.
The smack talk page is kickin again. Go play on that page. This page is for people being serious.

Nelly wrote a song I would like to sing to ya
"I am #1, what does it take to be #1?"

I'm getting Chris Been to install load woffers and amps for the outside of my trailer. I'm going to play that song on repeat right next to your van all weekend long.
Just so you don't forget again.

Sincerely your friend Ty,
THE CHAMP :p /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Not on anything except maybe a Suzuki. They may only pay to race it one class up though. For instance the 750 superstock.

HotBodies require that you provide proof of purchase and they have to be less than one year old.

On the up side they have excellent "racer" pricing.

Chris, the information is posted when it becomes available to us.

We start our race season very early and many contingency sponsors haven't worked out their details until closer to Daytona.

We often don't have all of our contingency information at our first event.

Fred, we just got the Suzuki info a few minutes ago, but they asked that we not post it on our website until they have a chance to post it on their's this weekend.

Contingency award and requirement information will be available this weekend at Oak Hill.

Don, according to the fine folks at SCRC, Bridgestone is paying the same contingency as last year. I asked them that when we had our rains mounted, cause I didnt see Bridgestone on the CMRA sheet, I would reckon that OHR would pay. I reckon we will have to wait for the offical answer to know for sure though.

MOST of the contingency sponsors are good about paying retroactive to an event even if they didn't have their forms and stickers available yet. In those cases, just use the 2005 forms until the new ones show up in the box, crossing out 2005 and dating accordingly.

Yes, Suzuki contingency was posted before MSR. All the contingency info that we've received can be found on the Forms page on the two sheets titled "Contingency Award Info" and "Contingency Requirements Info".

It was also available at MSR last race weekend. If you pre-entered those forms were in your pre-entry folder. If you post-entered, those forms are available in the Contingency File Box in tech.

Then it shows the race dates where they are paying.

Then it shows how many entries there need to be in order for them to pay.

Then it shows which classes, how many places and how much is paid for each place.

Just a reminder, manage your contingency carefully to make sure you get paid. I keep accurate records, copies, upc labels, etc and it is still like pulling teeth to get paid.

As a matter of fact I am having trouble with a current provider (???) even though I have proved my results and participation for the first two races. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

That's good advice, Christopher.

I'd also suggest following the exact requirements as listed on the Contingency Requirements Info sheet.

For example, you'd be surprised how many riders don't list the contingency sponsor in their results and then can't understand why they don't receive their money or certificate.

The reason why a company would offer contingency in the first place is advertising. If riders don't list them in their results, how are they getting any advertising?

Ok, clarification. The current provider I am working with is not at fault. They just dont pay for 2nd and 3rd place. They pay 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th.

They did give me a free t-shirt with my oil though. /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Just remember racers, the burden of proof is on you. This is your money and products, dont leave it on the table!!!

Speaking of Sponsor Lists...once you've submitted your list and they're correct in your results, you don't need to do it again unless you need to add or delete something.

And at this time, if you have more than one bike, we are unable to attach separate sponsors to each individual bike. We just have to list them all for both bikes.
