David,

Can we get it pumped directly from the barrells into our cans or does it come in the VP cans? The reason I ask I have seen several instances of rust in the bottom of those cans. I wont use the prepackaged cans going forward, rust is murder on carbs.

I'll check the can next time I'm at the track. Was this an isolated incident? Or has then been noticed more than once?

An alternative is are the plastic VP cans that I've seen. No idea where they came from but they do exist.

I have found it in the bottom of 2 cans and this weekend I was watching another racer siphon out of a can of U4 and a giant blob of orange rust went through the siphon tube. I love the plastic jugs but I have only seen them at one race.

David,
If you guys want to start selling fuel at the track maybe you should also take over doing the contingency payout paperwork as well.

More on this from David Roy:

We do have fuel by the gallon at the shop, but will not have open drums or fuel for sale at the track since we are not a CMRA vendor “yet”. All fuel must be purchased through our shop. Anyone can call me if they have any questions 972-966-0932.

I get my Fuel from David in the VP 15 gallon drums. I have not seen rust in the 15 gallon drums but I have seen it in the 5 gallon black cans. I transfer mine into plastic 5 gallon containers for ease of use when heading towards the track.
