The '06 schedule is on the calender at the MSR Houston site. There are twelve days as of now, with a Sat/Sun in July. (Oh yeah, party at the ranch!) We are now known as Longhorn Motorcycle School, and will have resident instructors Mike Sanchez and John Haner. The web site is being upgraded daily and should soon have a registration page to allow advanced sign ups. Check it out!!

Buck, the name leads me to believe you guys are just a school. Track day guys need not apply? I'm sure this is not the case. Just a comment from the peanut gal.

Yes the name implies school, I hear you. We OFFER instruction to the first two levels, but there is no mandatory participation. The expert level is more of an all out track session for the licensed racers. There are things we are hopeful of in the future and the "school" name is to further that cause. We really wanted to create an atmosphere where learning/questioning is encouraged, though that is left to the individual rider. I hate to think of the time, effort, and crash money I would have saved with a little direction on how to go faster, from experienced riders. All I kept teaching myself was the short line between turns involved grass. Thanks for the input, we'll be sure to explain that in the brochure!!

it would be handy if you posted the motorcycle related schedule as an iCal file so people can just download the entire schedule in one click.

Yes, a simple list of calendar dates would be nice. Those type of calendars are quite cumbersome!

Mike Sanchez and John Haner have been working hard at MSRHouston testing with their teams getting ready for Daytona. They know the track better than anyone on the planet and they can teach you a lot at their school. The next track day and school is Friday, Feb. 24, 2006. They are also available for one on one instruction by appointment seven days a week. Hope to see you all Friday.

Thanks Gabe Sanchez
