Jeremy,

Shawn Higbee broke his upper leg, hip, and shoulder in the crash. I was about 20 bike lengths behind the big crash and saw Shawn hit the wall, I was amazed and happy he was not more seriously injured.
He is one tough dude, and was back to racing for the last round at Daytona!

If you are cheering for the boys from TX then there is no need to watch the last race in Daytona /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

do you guys like the rolling starts? for me, one of the best parts of racing is gridding up and watching the flag drop.

don't most endurance racing use rolling starts?
ALMS, LMES do that... MC Endurance starts I've seen are guys running across track to their bike... it will be hard for gimpy folks like me... fatter folks will be slower too..

The "running start" where they run across to the bike is the "Le Mans" start... we've done that before... kinda dangerous IMHO, but fun!

hehehe... I was in reference to auto circuit endurance racing.. :P

A1GP racing has both standing and rolling starts depending if it is the sprint race or the slightly longer feature race..
