View Full Version : F3 Throttle Control Assembly

Does anyone know a source for a F3 throttle control assembly? A recent crash has damaged the aftermarket assembly on mine and I don't know where the previous owner purchased it.

Thanks,
Keith

Keith,
Does the throttle assy have a separate throttle and on/off switch? I have converted my F4 to an RC51 throttle assy. I like them being two separate pieces.

Hello Steve,

When I purchased my 97 F3, it had an aftermarket, machined aluminum throttle assembly. The throttle is a stand alone unit and does not contain any switch gear.

It is well made, but I don't have a clue where to get replacement parts. Do most racers use the stock throttle and cables?

Thanks,
Keith

Keith, it sounds like you have a Lockhart Phillips 1/4 turn throttle kit (LP part no. 123-410). Take a look in the LP book and see if it looks familiar. If you are a LP Team Privateer member (or know one that will order it for you), you can order it directly from LP for $52. Otherwise, if you are near Houston, John Klaus (281)847-0801 probably has one.

Good luck! MH

Michael,

I'll be darned. That sure looks like it. Their web page lists it at $79.95 and under "Honda" says it fits "GSXR750".

Hhmmmm. I'll give John a call.

Thanks!
Keith

Michael,

One other note: my throttle is an 1/8 turn assembly. I did not see this on the LP web site. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Keith
