View Full Version : Hallett Lap Times

I was wondering how much lap times change from running counter clockwise to clockwise. When we ran at Hallet last I turned a 1:26 and was wondering if the times should be about the same. The only turn that seems will change drastically is turn one, since the aproach will now be down hill. So any info will be appreciated.

Kevin, my lap times on my sv were about a second a lap faster clockwise (backwards). I have no Idea why. This after running Hallett the normal direction for about 2 years, then my first weekend the other way I am quicker. Maybe that track day the day before helped, maybe I had just improved that much as a rider...Naah, that couldn't be it! /ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I don't know if it's apples to apples (same driver, car, etc.), but based on the lap video clips available for viewing on the Hallett web page the counter clockwise lap is about 1 second faster. CW - 1:30.5; CCW - 1:29.6
