How many racers think that they can go out on track, whether to practice or race, without having to take their bike and helmet through Tech? Team 60, sprints, endurance, whatever?

Can I have a show of hands please?

Is this a dare? It would need to be a double dog dare, at a minimum, for me to try.

Not a dare...just curious.

I'm trying to figure out why our Pit Steward has to explain to racers who show up at Pit Out without Tech stickers that they have to go through Tech before they can go on track? Why racers would not pick up their pre-entry folders, not go through Tech and think they can just zip out on the track?

Team 60 racers asking if BOTH bikes have to go through Tech? Huh? Really? ......uh, yeah...sure...only one bike has to be safety Teched... :Whatever:

Maybe we should post this on the WERA message board and see what they think.....

If I went through tech first they'd never let me out on the racetrack. This way I can skip all that pesky safety wire stuff.

Cattle prod anyone that enters pit road without a tech sticker. Problem solved.

I would have been prodded! I tape a number plate over my ME # on the 250 and it covered my tech stickers! I promptly moved them over where they could be seen.
