Hello everyone!

Just started riding track in the beginning of may. Since then I've been to TWS twice, Harris hill once, and was at Cresson this last race weekend. Needless to say, I'm infected... The 600 hasn't touched a public road since, I'm picking up a 300 here shortly, and taking the CMRA license course. All in preparation to begin racing next season  I'm about to become a member at H2R and plan on heading out there 2-3 times a month during the off season.

I had the privilege of riding with some pretty quick racers running 250/300/390s in the street group. Up to this point I've worked on nothing but BP, my lines, corner exit, corner speed, and now I need to work on corner entry. I could keep up on the 600 all except the corner entries, a lot of people blew me away. That's ok mind you! Considering I've been saving that for last, I wasn't surprised. But MAN. I want to get better and faster like these guys. I know that I need to spend some quality time on a 300 and I greatly look forward to it. If I told you I was using the 600 to its' full potential, I'd be lying... And laughing at myself  Such a great experience out there, unfortunately I won't be able to attend the second race weekend up there.

The street group doesn't really have too many racers in it. It's a night and day difference even at the novice level. I would start racing the 300 first before entering the 600 classes. You will learn a lot more that way. I wish I would have done that. Welcome to the addiction.

That class was only allowed in the street group.

Precisely why I'm picking that 300 up!

Have fun, man! Don't look at your bank accounts or ever track your racing expenses.

No kidding! Pitched the 300 to the wife with the cheaper tires, so she agreed

They're only helping you uncover your "issues", Brandon. You just didn't know how many there were,

Discover is right, that is how we meet.

Racing is not addictive. But there is thing people keep saying to me. Something about denial. I know not what they speak of. Tires!!! I need tires and my MR12 fix!!!
