I need 'em, but can't break down and buy 'em. I just read where a steering damper is required and had to break down on that. Damn this is expensive. I would gladly pay to use some tire warmers. $30(on Sunday only). I have a generator. I am a provnov so I will be using my better judgement and probably don't need any, but figured they'd be nice to have

You want them....pull the trigger man!! David Hirch the Michelin man had some sweet chickenhawks(the really good ones, 3 temps) for 400.00 not long ago. I just sold Chris Kotowski my old set of tyre, sox try hitting him up. Great guy and I'm sure he'd be willing to get some of his money back.

Jason, don't forget to register early so you can get a transponder. Figured if you didn't have the warmers yet you probally didn't have a transponder.

"Transponders are required for all classes except for Mini Sprints and Jr. Motard.

Unless you have one of your own, the CMRA will loan a transponder to endurance teams free of charge. CMRA rents transponders for sprint classes at $30 per day with a $350 deposit."

I prereg'd and reserved a transponder. Thanks. I'm trying to do this stuff in babysteps so my wife doesn't figure out how much this really costs. I can't sneak the warmers by.

Well, uhhhh gee Jason, if you need a transponder to use, I have one of those also. Shall I bring it? It's just sitting in the shop not transponding and I know it's just dying to transpond...because that's what it does.

Good luck with that strategy Jason....Just remind her it's cheaper than drugs and running around after loose women. That almost worked for me.

Ok David, I'll take you up on the warmers AND transponder. What is the likeliness that I will get a refund on the $30 I've already paid to reserve one from the CMRA? Can you email me with the price?

Will a Honda EU2000i be enough to run tire warmers?
