Does anyone know the hospital or address for those of us who would like to send a card?

The Brothers have done a tremendous amount for racing, and are in our hearts.

That is terrible... I never got to talk to her much, but her and all of the Brothers family are just the awesome kind of people you want to be around. I missed her and the rest of the Brother's when they left the CMRA.

I remember her at my first race in early 2001.

Best wishes!

Update on Connie

Just left the Hospital and Connie is doing well
considering what she has been thru.
She is TOUGH, so I know she will be back to normal soon.

You say how tough, well back in the day........
In 1979 WERA was having " The Worlds Longest and Toughest Endurance Race- The 30 Hours of Rockingham " Connie and Charles rode a motorcycle up to North Carolina, Charles rode in the race, Connie scored the majority of the 30 hour race, if not all of it, and then they loaded up on their motorcycle and headed home !!!
That tough !!!!!!!!

She asked about a lot of her CMRA family.
We talked about what happened at Hallett this past weekend, she enjoyed hearing stories about how all the "kids" were growing up and doing well. She really enjoyed hearing about Ty, winning all his races in style, talked about how much she always enjoyed watching Ty ride.
I told her to get well and come join us at TWS at the next race. She said she'd like to do that.

Her Doctor has told her she will have to stay off Charles motorcycle for at least 6 to 8 weeks. She smiled and said that sounded like a challenge. I hope to see her on the back of Charles motorcycle at TWS !!

As has been reported earlier Connie and Charles dedicated their lives to the CMRA for over 20 years. We owe them a lot and I'm glad to see Connie doing better.

I'll probably be in trouble for posting this, but
if you'd like to leave Connie a message on her cell phone, the number is 281-650-8156
She is doing lots of physical therapy, so she is out of the room alot, but you can probably reach her in her room during the evening, as well as Charles and Aaron, who are there after work, that number is 281-588-8527

Connie went home on Friday Sept 9th.
She is able to walk with a cane, but has some limited moevement in her left arm, which is getting better day by day.

Just talked to Charles and Connie on the phone, they were eating at a Chinese restaurant, so it's good to see she already feels like getting out and about!!!!!!

Good news !!!!!!!!
