hey guys,

i am talking with a guy in the dc area about a 93 rs chassis (it has the 3.5" rear wheel) that he has for sale.

the main things that seem to be missing are the front wheel, rear shock, and both sets of brakes.

here are a couple of pics:

what do you all think this is worth?
also, what should i expect to pay for the missing items?

thanks for any and all info,
john

John,

The plastic and tank look ok but what in the Hell did he do to the frame and swingarm?? I am not an expert but I have not seen any black frames out there. Unless I got a very good deal on this stuff I would walk. Good Deal ($300-$500). You are missing enough stuff here that I think you could sink another $1,000 easy if you tried to buy it all seperate. The best you could hope for was another parts bike. Some may say hell you would pay that just for the tank or the frame. To buy either item seperate they would be right. However, a friend of mine just bought a running 93 125 for $1650. We figure that he will get at least $400 for the motor on ebay. We saw a 94 motor go for $700 a couple of weeks ago. I bought my 93 rs/80 already done with a little body damage for $2,200. I can't help but think you are going to have a very hard time and spend too much money trying to peice that back together. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Later, Eric
