Jason,
I can't believe you and I are the only two that read this board and ride 600 gixers.
First let me preface this with the standard "I'm slow so take this for what it's worth". I've run OHR 4 times with 15/45 gearing and turn anywhere from 1:36's to 1:41's depending on my mood during that lap. This is 2nd and 3rd pretty much all the way around. I get good squirt out of the corners in 2nd but getting to 3rd over most of the course seems futile due to having to down shift 50 ft. or so later. So the bike carries alot of RPM around the track. Sorry for the delay in responding. I was hoping someone with with more of a feel for this would have offered the nugget of info you and I need.

You realize that if this were a mini gearing question there would be 50 replys by now. All different of course, but alot of free infomation to choose from. You got to love passionate people.

See you at the track.
Come ooooon Saturday.

Rob,
I think that the general wisdom is to drop a tooth up front and go from there. By the way how did that new suspension work out. I see your bike now and then, sure looks good.

thanx for the input... I'm running a 15 and a 48 now... I'll bring a variety of rear sprokets. I've never ridden OHR. Should be fun. And yes.... What gearing should i run on my mini for the PIT.... :p
