We like many of you have the quick fill system that you insert, drop, and you are done. The system is by a company well known in dirt track called Acerbis. Are any of you having issue with the slowness of this unit? If so, what have you done to correct it?
While testing it on a spare tank at home it works fine but we can never tell when the tank is getting full until it is too late.
Anyone using a fool proof system that is cheap, reliable, and relatively fast?

Bob,
Give up on the Acerbis. We tried like hell to get it faster and it doesn't work very well.
The systems that seem to work well and are inexpensive is a PVC ball valve attatched to a 5 gallon fuel jug. The neck on the valve fits into the tank with enough clearance to vent properly. The ball valve dumps the fuel quite quickly. Try Home Depot, or U-Plumbit for the pipe/fittings.
Call me if you need me to C.A.D. a drawing for you.

We bought a Quick Fill for less than $80 that goes on a regular 5 gal container.

It can fill up a tank in less than 10 seconds. Used it all season and seems to be holding up well.

IMS has 2 jugs that work real good. You have to get a valve for it to fit the stock fill hole.
