RIDER'S SCHOOL

Want to see how good you really are? Want to learn the skills that will make you a better rider?

The CMRA Rider's School offers you the opportunity to get the most out of your machine. We teach you in the classroom, then put it all into practice on the track.

Rider's Schools are available through Lone Star Track Days. Successful completion of a Rider's School course is mandatory for all would-be racers, but hey, if you just want to get some track time and join in the fun, that's OK too.

For additional information send an email to our Rider's School instructor Gabe McClendon: ridersschool@lstd.com

NEW RACERS

To race with the CMRA you must take or have taken an accredited racing school and purchase a license. The school's main purpose is to prepare newcomers for their first race. Not all students who take the class are interested in racing... they just want a license to rent the track for practice. This approach is welcome also.

The CMRA New Rider School is provided by Lone Star Track Days. Examine their schedule and select a date that will be suitable enough to allow you time to prepare. Advanced registration for Rider's School is required. Everything gets started early on race weekends, we must utilize the daylight hours. Gates open at 6:00 a.m. and you should be there at that time with your equipment ready. Minors (10-17) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, (extra paperwork is required, please call for minor releases). How much enjoyment you derive from the school depends on how well you prepare for it.
