Does MotoAmerica require mid-race retech? Why do we?

There are many things we do because the pros are doing it. Often, rule changes are made, citing MotoAmerica. I believe there is a rule in CMRA that, even during a sprint, if one crashes, retech is required. Iím happy to be corrected.

Perhaps this is a rule that should match MA, as I understand it purely thru observation. Perhaps endurance remains the same and only sprints, including S30 and T60, donít require it.

I donít recall if cornerworkers are permitted (or even educated) to tech during the race.

    I’ll give it some thought.
